MORE INFORMATION

This Clone Trooper Pilot was released during The Legacy Collection in a Walmart exclusive Evolution 3-pack in early September 2009. This specific pilot was never seen in any of the movies, and the only documentation of its existence is on the Hasbro evolution packaging.

The figure has a total of 13 joints. One joint missing is the waist joint, which is unusual as 99.9% of star wars figures these days have one. The figure's red markings are applied well on the shoulders, but appear a bit messy on the helmet. The rest of the body armor is kept in a white, clean condition without any battle markings or scratches. The AT-AT driver inspired helmet fits well over the Clone's head and can easily be put on or removed. The chest box is permanently attached to the helmet and hangs down loosely, and it doesn't need to be plugged into the chest like on some other pilot figures. The clone's blaster fits well into both hands and the figure is able to stand securely on its own without the need of a stand. Size-wise it should also fit into any Gunship cockpit.

With so many super articulated Clone Troopers on the market today, it's almost a let down if a newly released Clone doesn't have 14 joints. If you are in need of more Clone pilots, or a more diversified line-up of Gunship pilots, then you might want to consider this figure, but if you are a collector who needs to have some sort of source material what the figure is based on, you probably want to skip this Gunship pilot.

PACKAGING TEXT

Imperial pilots emerge from secrecy as valorous warriors in the waning days of the Republic, then devolve into ruthless enforcers as an evil Empire is born. Clone pilots fly Republic gunships during the Battle of Geonosis. In the final days of the Clone Wars, clone pilots in V-wings battle the enemies of first the Republic, then the Galactic Empire. Imperial pilots rise from the ashes of the Republic to defend the new Empire and enforce the Emperor's orders.
