MORE INFORMATION

This Battle Droid action figure was released in the second half of 2009's Clone Wars Deluxe line, bundled together with a small AST vehicle. This specific battle droid can be seen in various Clone Wars episodes.

The figure is a repaint of the previously individually carded Battle Droid from 2008. This time the droid has blue markings on the shoulders, the upper torso and waist section. The rest of the droid was given a nice subtle dirt deco, which makes the droid appear in a used condition. The only accessory included with the droid was a backpack, which plugs into the back of the figure where it stays firmly attached.

Due to the Battle Droid's petite stature, it has balancing problems, and you will need a stand so it doesn't fall over every few moments. All in all, the look and overall aesthetics are great and should please fans of the Clone Wars TV show. However, with only 8 joints, balancing problems and no weapon included, there is still room for improvements.

PACKAGING TEXT

Armored scout tanks (ASTs) are light reconnaissance vehicles driven by pilot droids. Specially programmed battle droids operate the vehicles and fire upon the enemy with twin laser cannons. These repulsorcrafts are deployed in small units for hit-and-rn missions or used to support larger military campaigns during the Clone Wars.
