- This Disney Toybox BB-8 figure was released exclusively at Disney Stores in August 2019
- The figure was released in the basic assortment, but it was packed together with a ToyBox Poe Dameron figure
- This BB-8 figure marks the first droid released in Disney's ToyBox Star Wars line
- The only movable part on BB-8 is the dome which can be turned 360°
- The antennas on the dome can't be removed or pulled out further
