MORE INFORMATION

  • This R5-P8 astromech droid was released in a Celebrate The Saga multipack titled Bounty Hunters in October 2020
  • The other figures in this set were Bossk, Jango Fett, Boba Fett and IG-88
  • R5-P8 was first seen in the Clone Wars animated TV series titled The Gungan General
  • The droid had numerous appearance since the Clone Wars including an appearance as Hondo Ohnaka's assistant at Ohnaka Transport Solutions in the Black Spire Outpost on Batuu
  • For this droid Hasbro used the Build-A-Droid sculpt, which means the droid can be taken apart into the dome, three legs and the body
  • There are no panels on the droid which can be opened and there are no hidden gadgets built in
  • The antenna in the dome is permanently attached
  • The dome can be rotated 360° but it doesn't trigger any functionality
  • The middle leg can be unplugged from the body so that the droid can be placed into a two legged, standing position
  • All three feet have wheels in them so that it can be rolled around on a smooth surface
  • The cables on the two outer legs can be moved up and down slightly
  • Hasbro painted R5-P8 very nicely on the outside, it has a dirty wash all over the body, dome and legs
  • Once you take the dome off you can see the inner-workings of the droid, and unfortunately those parts were only kept in it's basic plastic color without any additional paint on it
  • R5-P8 stands well on display without falling over
