MORE INFORMATION

This V-Wing Pilot figure was released during The Legacy Collection in a Walmart exclusive Evolution 3-pack in early September 2009. The V-Wing pilot was never seen in any of the movies, and the only documentation of its existence is on the Hasbro evolution packaging.

Hasbro gave the figure a total of 12 joints, neglecting the figure's ankle articulation. Even though there are no joints in the ankles, the figure stands save and sound on its own. The clone blaster included fits well into both of the figure's hands and you don't have to worry about having it fall out every time you re-position the figure.

The paint application is cleanly applied with glossy and matte blacks on the pilot suit, gray and silver colors on the belt and red and blue colors on the chest box. The helmet has the cables running from it, and the chest box permanently attached to it. The helmet is a perfect fit for the head, but the visor is set too high and never covers the pilot's eyes. In addition, when you plug the chest box into the hole in the chest, the cables push the helmet up a little bit, thus revealing the chin and mouth area of the clone underneath. So, it might be better to not plug the chest box in, but then you'll have a figure on display which has a hole in the chest.

Overall, it's just an average figure, with the helmet preventing it from being a great figure. If you are a fan of the expanded universe, or need a clone to sit inside the cockpit of your V-Wing, this might be for you, otherwise you can sit this one out.
