MORE INFORMATION

This Storm Commando figure was released during The Legacy Collection in a Walmart exclusive Evolution 3-pack in early September 2009. Storm Commandos were never seen in any of the movies, and the only documentation of the existence of the Biker Scout type Commando is on the Hasbro evolution packaging.

Hasbro made the trooper super articulated with 14 joints, including a ball-jointed waist. There are no balancing issues and both blasters fit quite well into the clone's hands. There are two holster on the figure's belt, the one on the left is for the smaller, Biker Scout type blaster, while the one on the right is for the bigger blaster. Both weapons fit nicely into the holsters.

The paint job is cleanly applied with glossy and matte blacks on the Storm Commando's armor, and some silver on the belt buckle. The trooper's helmet is not removable.

All in all, it's a cool, super articulated Storm Commando figure. If you are a fan of the expanded universe you probably will be pleased with this release.

PACKAGING TEXT

Elite commandos conduct fierce battles and covert operations from the earliest days of the Clone Wars to the final days of the Galactic Empire. The lethally effective Alpha (Alpha-17) accompanies Jedi generals on missions and trains clone troopers on Kamino. Fi Skirata (RC-8015) serves as a team medic in Teroch Squad and Omega Squad, easing tensions with his sense of humor. Storm commandos receive special training to fight the Rebel Alliance; also called shadow scouts, they wear dark armor that deflects light and energy.
