MORE INFORMATION

This Utai figure was released during the Legacy Collection's basic line-up in November 2009's Revenge Of The Sith wave. Several Utais can be seen on Utapau when Obi-Wan arrived to look for General Grievous.

The figure is super articulated with 14 joints, which adds enough freedom to pose the figure in whatever position you prefer. The included lance fits well in both of the Utai's hands. The figure's headdress is molded into the head and cannot be removed.

Hasbro gave the figure the correct height, which makes it about one head shorter than other regular figures. The sculpt itself is nicely done, with plenty of details on the Utai's uniform and the front and back armor. Unfortunately, the paint application is not accurate compared to the character in the movie and is missing some details. For example, the Utai's under arms are supposed to be a darker yellowish, brownish color, but they are both painted green on the figure. The Utai is also missing the red shoulder markings, and the red markings on the headdress. Despite some inaccuracies when compared to the movie counterpart, it's still a well sculpted and never-before-done action figure, which will look cool in any collection.

PACKAGING TEXT

The Utai are one of the native species on Utapau. As the working class, they look after the dragon corrals and serve as ground crews on landing platforms. They live in the numerous sinkholes on the planet, taming the indigenous dactillions and varactyls.
