This Willrow Hood action figure was released at the end of 2009 in The Legacy Collection's basic assortment. The character can be spotted on Bespin, running in the background, after Lando Calrissian gives the evacuation signal. Willrow Hood's unofficial subtitle is Ice Cream Maker Guy, because the item he's carrying is an actual real world "Ice Cream Maker" appliance. The character became somewhat famous when a Star Wars fan named Scott Pearson started an online petition at www.petitiononline.com to convince Hasbro to release the Ice Cream Maker Guy as an action figure. By the time of this figure's release, he had gathered around 2,000 digital signatures from fellow collectors, and without him it's questionable if Hasbro would have ever released this figure.

Willrow Hood is super articulated with 14 joints, including a ball-jointed neck, shoulders, elbows, knees and ankles. There are swivel joints in both wrists, the waist and both legs. Hasbro included 2 accessories with the figure, a basic rebel blaster, and the Ice Cream Maker a.k.a. the "memory core". The blaster fits perfectly into Hood's right hand, but it's not a good fit for his left. It is possible to have Willrow Hood hold the memory core under his left arm, the way it was seen in the ESB, but overall it's not a very good fit and you'll find that it'll keep falling out from underneath his arm. However, the memory core is nicely detailed, and has the rebel symbol etched-in at the bottom of it.

The paint application is very simple. An orange jump suit, black boots, and some silver details on the left arm, that's it. The sculpt of the figure is well done though, with a little belly and a very well done head sculpt. Even though Willrow Hood might not appeal to a lot of people due to it's very plain look, it's still a super articulated figure which looks very closely to the movie counterpart. It certainly will make a fantastic background character for any Bespin diorama or set up, and considering that Hasbro hasn't released any Bespin citizen's as of 2010, this figure is a welcome addition to the line-up!

Willrow Hood works for the gas mining company on Cloud City. When the Empire seizes control of the city, Hood destroys a computer memory core to prevent the Empire from discovering information about secret transactions with the Rebels.
