MORE INFORMATION

  • General Grievous was released in a beautifully designed display box during Disney's D23 convention in Anaheim, CA on August 14, 2015
  • The impressive looking multipack was limited to 500 pieces world wide
  • General Grievous was packed-in together with C-3PO, R2-D2, Anakin Skywalker, Darth Maul, Darth Vader, Boba Fett and a Stormtrooper
  • This version of General Grievous is about one head taller than a regular Disney Elite Series Die Cast figure
  • The figure came with four lightsabers, two blue and two green ones
  • Each lightsaber hilt was molded and painted differently (nice!)
  • Unfortunately, General Grievous' hands are too big to hold them properly
  • The arms can be rotated 360 degrees, just like Grievous did in Revenge Of The Sith
  • Even the elbows are ball-jointed here, it's too bad that all the joints in this figure are overly loose, so you won't be able to keep the figures arms up or even spread out
  • The paint job was well done and overall General Grievous looks fantastic
  • The plastic cape is beautifully sculpted and it can easily be taken off the figure
  • Even though the figure looks nice, we recommend that you keep this one in the packaging
  • Right after we had taken General Grievous out of the packaging the left leg came off, it won't go back on properly, and while trying to fix it the paint chipped off in the hip area
  • The figure is too heavy for the loose joints and small feet, the figure can't support its own weight
  • In our case the left foot broke off completely and the figure fell forward due to its own weight without any outside influence
  • There was no display stand included and this version of Grievous has no holes in the feet
  • Overall, this Disney Elite Series Die Cast figure LOOKS beautiful, there was clearly a lot of effort put into it, but it's nearly impossible to display it once it's out of its packaging due to loose joints and its weight
  • This very same figure was re-released by Disney individually boxed, you can find out more about it here: Disney Elite Series General Grievous
