The Power Of The Force
The Power Of The Force toy line started in July of 1995 and ran for five years until 2000. Even though the first few figures looked buff and muscular (which was a reflection of the Hollywood Schwarzenegger/Stallone trend) the toy line was well received by collectors and Star Wars fans everywhere were happy that their beloved 3.75" action figure line from their childhood continued. Even though Hasbro, Inc. purchased the Tonka Corporation, which included Kenner Products and Parker Brothers, in 1991, they kept using the Kenner logo instead of their own Hasbro logo on the packaging until the Episode 1 toy line in 1999.
Flashback Series
The Flashback figures served as a bridge to the prequel trilogy. There were eleven figures released, and each figure came with a "flashback photo". When the tap at the bottom of the photo was either pulled or pushed up, the picture would change to either the prequel or the original trilogy character.
