MORE INFORMATION

  • Axe Woves was officially shown for the first time on January 23, 2024 during a Hasbro livestream on the Hasbro Pulse YouTube channel
  • This Axe Woves figure was released single carded in April 2024
  • The packaging depicts Axe Woves as he appeared in season 3 of the Mandalorian tv series
  • For this figure Hasbro re-worked the existing Axe Woves figure from 2022 and gave the figure a different helmet
  • You can use the compare tool and look at both figures side by side here: Axe Woves Comparison
  • Unlike on the previous figure where a functional helmet was included that could be placed over the head, Hasbro included a helmet here which needs to be plugged onto the figure's neck peg (the head needs to be unplugged first)
  • This works well and the included helmet looks much more accurately shaped than on the previous release
  • The range-finder on the helmet can be moved up and down (a feature the previous release didn't have)
  • The blaster fits well into the holster and Axe Woves can hold it well in both hands
  • The jet-pack plugs firmly into a hole in the back of the figure
  • The paint application on Axe Woves looks good, expecially the head sculpt and the paint on the portrait looks outstanding
  • Whenever accessories or small weapons have painted details it's cookie points for Hasbro, and in Axe's case the small blaster was given a painted grip
  • Unfortunately Hasbro didn't adjust the belt and the chest armor to match Axe Woves' outfit from the third season of the Mandalorian TV series
  • This release marks the second inaccurate version of Axe Woves because the first figure was inaccurate to the season 2 outfit
  • Despite the shortcomings and the cost cutting measures by Hasbro, it's a good looking figure overall
  • Axe Woves stands well on display without falling over
