Here is a look at Bad Batch Customs Yavin 4 Diorama. The amount of work and attention to detail which has gone into the creation of this diorama is amazing. The base shows the outside of the Rebel base on Yavin 4, but it also has room on the inside for meetings, vehicle repairs etc... It took about one year (on and off) to finish and the materials used, such as paint, turf and lights cost about $1000.
The dimensions are impressive for a 3.75" scaled diorama, the temple sits on top of a 4x8 sheet of plywood and the entire diorama is about 7ft tall, 7ft wide and 4ft deep. The Rebel Base can house about 10 ships and currently there are about 100 3.75" Star Wars figures in it.
Besides the custom built environment you can also see custom paint jobs on the vehicles, in particular the Y-Wing bomber with red markings. The diorama also shows just how important droids and alien characters are to building out the Star Wars world.
Take your time and look at following images to see jus thow much work went into building this diorama, there is a custom made conference table, the walls with the vines growing on them, the lighting, structural beams, ladders, custom doors, it all adds up to a wonderful recreation of the Rebel base.
