3/20/2024 The Black Series The Vintage Collection

Hasbro held their Imperial March livestream this morning on the Hasbro Pulse YouTube channel where they announced new figures for the Black Series 6" line and the 3 3/4" Vintage Collection. Surprising was that the team had figures to show which will appear in the up-coming Star Wars: The Acolyte tv series! Besides new figure announcements the Star Wars brand team also announced that there will be a new Vintage Collection HasLab project announced on May 4, 2024, let the speculations begin!

The Vintage Collection

For the Vintage Collection Hasbro showed previously announced figures of Princess Leia Organa and R2-D2. Leia is an all new figure while R2-D2 is a clean version of VC149.

For the up-coming Star Wars tv series The Acolyte Hasbro showed a Vintage Collection figure of Mae (Assassin) and Jedi Master Sol. Every figure announced today is a mainline release and will be available in Fall 2024. Hasbro came out swinging when it came to pipeline reveals and announced that playsets will continue and that the creature assortment will return to the Vintage Collection! Up-coming figures for 2025 will include the following: Jet-pack Trooper (Jedi: Survivor), Grand Admiral Thrawn (Ahsoka tv series), a 4-pack of X-Wing pilot figures, a Blurrg together with Din Djarin and a Moff Gideon Imperial Light Cruiser playset (a pack-in figure was not announced). Look for all those figures to be shown at presentations later this year.

The packaging for the Jabba the Hutt playset was shown, together with a carded 8D8 and Salacious B. Crumb. There were no surprises here because the packaging had been leaked previously through Mr. Stevie on Instagram, but it was mentioned that Salacious will have an "A" added to the VC number to not get this release confused with the original 2012 version.

Towards the end of the livestream the Hasbro Star Wars team gave an update about the Vintage Collection Ghost vehicle and mentioned that they are currently working on the packaging for the vehicle.

The Black Series

The Star Wars team had quite a few figures to announce, especially from the up-coming Star Wars: Acolyte tv series. Figures from this show will include Jedi Master Sol, Jecki Lon, Yord Fandar, Indara and Mae. It's always fun to see brand new figures in this line even more so when we don't even know the names of the characters yet! All those figures will include their soft-goods robes, pre-orders go live on March 21, 2024 at 1pm ET, check the links further up on this page please.

The Black Series Holocomm series is going to continue with Darth Maul! The figure is based on his Clone Wars season 7 appearance, it'll cost $29.99 and is a Target exclusive figure.

Not action figure released but too cool to not share is the Black Series Moff Gideon helmet as seen in the third season of the Mandalorian tv series. The helmet will be out this Fall and pre-orders can be made on March 21, 2024 at 1pm ET.

Last but not least Hasbro announced some Black Series figures which are currently in pre-production for a 2025 release, including Dedra Meero (Andor), Imperial Armored Commando (Mando season 3), Ahsoka Tano (Peridea), Captain Enoch & Night Trooper 2-pack (Walmart exclusive) and a Yoda & Commander Gree 2-pack based on comic book appearances.
