Fanthatracks.com recently unveiled an exciting image from Toy Fair Nuernberg in Germany, which showcased a wide range of forthcoming Star Wars products from Hasbro. Among the standouts in this promotional poster were two potential new releases: a brand-new Sandtrooper figure, an updated version of Ben Kenobi (previously pipeline revealed), and a fresh take on the iconic Landspeeder. This first look suggests that Hasbro is embracing the theme for 2025, fittingly dubbed “Return To Tatooine.”
Collectors across the Star Wars community are already buzzing about the possibility of adding these items to their collections, although there’s been no official word yet on when Hasbro plans to make a formal reveal for the Landspeeder. Naturally, many fans are hopeful that the Sandtrooper won’t be the pack-in figure, since trooper-building is such a popular aspect of collecting. Being able to secure multiple Sandtrooper figures would allow collectors to recreate iconic scenes and bolster their ever-growing Imperial ranks.
However, one detail that did raise eyebrows was Hasbro’s choice to use what appears to be an outdated C-3PO figure in the promotional material. While the golden protocol droid is beloved by many, this older sculpt doesn’t quite capture the shine and detail that fans cherish. There’s renewed hope, though, that Hasbro might be working on a more accurate and fully vac-metallized version of C-3PO somewhere down the line. Such a release could perfectly complement the “Return To Tatooine” theme, ensuring that collectors have a truly iconic rendition of everyone’s favorite fast-talking, rule-abiding droid to stand alongside the newly revealed figures and vehicles. As more details emerge, it will be exciting to see how Hasbro plans to bring these classic Star Wars characters and vehicles to life, once we have more info we'll post it here on GalacticFigures.com.
