The first appearance of Yarna was in Return Of The Jedi, which was released in 1983. It took 25 years for a company to go ahead and produce an action figure based on this character. So, to say that fans of the Original Trilogy had to wait a long time to get this figure is an understatement. So, the big question is, did Hasbro deliver? And, to keep the answer short, I think so. The figure looks great, it has the right proportions, the detail is there, the paint job is clean, there is tons of articulation to let her dance in your diorama. I also like the knife and the little holster where it fits in perfectly. The figure stands securely without the help of a stand and Yarna holds the glass accessory tightly with her right hand. Overall, I think this is a great figure!
Yarna is a dancer in Jabba's palace, entertaining the Hutt with a graceful ballet that soothes the irascible gangster when nothing else can. Yarna stays behind at the palace on the day of teh planned execution at the Pit of Carkoon, a decision that saves her life.
