A young version of Beru Whitesun had been on many collector's wish lists for years, and in June of 2009, a full seven years after Attack Of The Clones debuted in movie theaters, Hasbro finally released this figure. Beru has 12 joints, including a ball-jointed neck, ball-jointed elbows and knees. The face sculpt is done nicely and comes overall pretty close to how Beru looked in the movie. The soft goods skirt is not removable. The figure can stand by itself, and the included canister accessory fits nicely into either one of her hands. Hasbro did include ball-jointed knees, but unfortunately her hard plastic tundra from her upper body goes over her waists, which prevents her legs to go high enough for a sitting position. This then makes it difficult to have her sit on a table in a Lars Homestead diorama for example. The paint application is basic but applied well and compliments the figure nicely. Granted, Beru Whitesun is not the most exciting action figure in the Star Wars Universe, but considering that this character had screen time in three of the Star Wars movies, and is Luke Skywalker's step mother, it's a great figure to have in the collection.
Beru is the girlfriend of Owen Lars and is on the moisture farm when Anakin Skywalker arrives looking for his mother. The shy, young girl is content with her life on the harsh desert planet and looks forward to her life as a moisture farmerGÇÖs wife.
