This release marked the 3rd time that Star Wars Collectors got a Prince Xizor action figure. The figure is far superior in it's overall look and it's appearance when compared with the Xizor action figures from the mid-90ties, however the figure is not without it's problems. For one, Xizor can't stand by himself, even though he has 14 joints! Because of his hard-plastic cape you can't position the legs correctly. Luckily Hasbro included the peg holes in his feet so that he can be placed on a stand. It is quite frustrating though that Hasbro still releases figures which can't stand on their own. The details on the figure are nicely done, especially the soft-goods drapes hanging from his arms add a nice touch. The face sculpt is outstanding, and the paint is applied nicely. Hasbro included a staff with the figure, which Xizor can hold tightly in his left hand. Overall, this is a great looking figure and an overall improvement to earlier versions of this character, but considering that fans had to wait for 13 years for a new Xizor figure, it should have probably turned out better.
