This Corran Horn figure was released as a Walmart exclusive in August 2009 together with astromech droid R2 Whistler. Corran comes with an X-Wing helmet which features his unique markings and fits very well over his head. In addition to the X-Wing helmet, the figure came with a blue lightsaber (non-removable blade), a lightsaber hilt, and a blaster. Both lightsabers fit well into Corran's hands and the lightsaber hilt can be plugged into Corran Horn's belt. The blaster is pre-attached when you take the figure out of the packaging, and you might want to keep it that way because it sits a bit loose in his hands without the little plastic rubber band.
The cable running from Corran Horn's chestbox into the suit can be detached from the suit, but not from the actual chestbox. The chestbox is permanently attached to the suit. The figure has 14 joints, including a ball-jointed upper torso and ball-jointed ankles. The joints seem a bit stiff, but once you move them around a bit they should loosen up a bit. There are no balancing issues and the paint application is basic, but gets the job done. The face sculpt looks quite nice, no complaints there. All things considered, this is a cool, super articulated Corran Horn figure and if you are into the X-Wing Rogue Squadron stories, or the I, Jedi novel, this figure is for you!
From the book I, Jedi! Rogue Squadron pilot Corran Horn searches for his wife who has disappeared while on a covert mission to track down pirates. The Force-sensitive Horn is accompanied on his quest by his astromech droid R2 Whistler, who has programs useful in detective work, escape and evasion.
