  • Astromech Droid R5-G19 was released individually carded
  • The character should have appeared on the Home One during the Rebel briefing in Return Of The Jedi - but it was never seen on screen
  • Hasbro used build-a-droid parts from 2008 for this droid - which is OK with us - but a dedicated mold without holes on both sides of the body would have been more welcome
  • The droid's dome can be unplugged from the body - which then reveals some "inner workings"
  • The dome can be rotated 360 degrees - but there is no clicking sound - and it triggers no other feature
  • The antenna is permantently attached to the dome
  • The middle leg can be manually unplugged - which lets us put the droid in a two-legged stance
  • The droid is painted nicely (your mileage may vary) - and its kept in a clean pristine way - just the way the off-screen droid looked
  • All three feet have wheels in them
  • The droid has no balancing issues
  • R5-G19 was never-before-done by Hasbro - which automatically makes it a welcome addition to the ever growing astromech droid collection!
  • Side Note: Even though this character never appeared in Return Of The Jedi - we have it flagged in our system as having appeared - in case somebody wants to set-up a Home One diorama

An R5-series astromech droid stands in the briefing room as Rebel Alliance leaders Mon Mothma and Admiral Ackbar outline the planned attack on the second Death Star.
