MORE INFORMATION

  • This version of Baby Yoda aka the Child was released single boxed in May of 2020 in Hasbro's Black Series
  • The Grogu figure pictured here has a different paint application than the first The Child figure, the sleeves and the collar were given a noticeable different beige paint application
  • Just like the Porgs previously, this figure was released in a smaller box than regular Black Series 6" figures and at a cheaper price ($9.99)
  • The Child came with a two-piece storage case which includes a knob, a bowl and a frog
  • There are no removable parts on the figure
  • Grogu is nicely articulated for its small size (1 ball-jointed neck, 2 ball-jointed shoulders, 2 ball-jointed wrists, 2 ball-jointed feet)
  • The articulation however isn't very functional, the arms popped out several times when reposing the figure, and the head and feet can hardly be moved
  • The included display case is nice, and it's a life saver because without it the included accessories would likely get lost
  • The Child is able to hold the included bowl and knob in the palm of the hand, but they are likely to fall out when the figure is moved
  • The frog is not articulated
  • Hasbro sculpted "Baby Yoda" nicely and the size seems to be appropriate when compared to the Black Series 6" Mandalorian
  • Grogu stands well on display without falling over
