• This Black Series Admiral Ackbar figure was released singled boxed in August 2020 as part of the Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi line-up of figures, he was #01
• This is the second time that Hasbro has made an Admiral Ackbar Black Series figure, the first one was based on his appearance in The Last Jedi and was released in 2017, you can learn more about that figure here: Black Series Admiral Ackbar
• For this Return Of The Jedi version of Admiral Ackbar Hasbro re-used the head, forearms and hands from the previous release, but everything else on this figure is new
• Admiral Ackbar came with a blaster rifle, which fits well into the figure's right hand (Ackbar can't hold anything in his left hand)
• Admiral Ackbar's mouth opens when the head is moved back
• There are no removable pieces on the outfit
• Admiral Ackbar was painted and sculpted well and he has a much nicer and overall darker paint application on the skin than the 2017 Black Series Admiral Ackbar figure
• Unfortunately the figure reviewed here had some paint chips on the pants and on the belt
• The sculpted details on the figure's head are impressive
• Admiral Ackbar stands well on display without falling over
