MORE INFORMATION

  • This Black Series Captain Cardinal figure was released single boxed on August 30th, 2020 exclusively at Target stores
  • Some J.B. readers also found this figure at Tatooine Traders at Walt Disney World, Fl just days after Target was selling it
  • The figure is a repaint of the Executioner Stormtrooper which has a more pronounced and higher sitting frow on the helmet (the body originated in 2015 with the San Diego Comic Con exclusive First Order Stormtrooper)
  • Besides the red color Hasbro also added a soft-goods cape to the figure
  • The cape is removable once the head has been popped off the body, but that's not easy to do
  • Captain Cardinal came with a blaster which can be stored on the figure's right thigh (there is a hole where it can be plugged in)
  • The trooper's right index finger can be placed onto the trigger on both weapons (nice!)
  • There is no head underneath the helmet
  • The belt is not removable
  • Hasbro painted the figure well overall, but it feels simple due to only red and black colors on the entire armor without any battle damage or dirt on it
  • The figure keeps its balance well even in more dynamic battle poses
