This Fi Skirata figure was released during The Legacy Collection in a Walmart exclusive Evolution 3-pack in early September 2009. Fi Skirata is a medic clone trooper who served in the Teroch and Omega Squads. The character was never seen in any of the feature length movies.
The figure is super articulated with 14 movable joints, but Hasbro opted to give the Clone only swivel arms instead of making them ball-jointed. Fi Skirata came with a blaster, a backpack where the shoulder rocket launcher an be attached, a medical scanner and a removable medical pack which can be attached to one of his legs. Note that the helmet is not removable. All accessories attach firmly or can be held tightly by the Clone. Surprisingly, even with all the equipment attached, the figure stands quite nicely on its own without the need for a stand. The paint application is applied cleanly with dark blue markings on the front and the back of the armor. There is no battle damage or any kind of scratches to be found on the figure.
Overall, this Fi Skirata figure should please fans of the Expanded Universe and collectors who are into Clone Commandos. If Hasbro would have given this figure ball-jointed arms (which is pretty standard these days), the figure would have scored higher. But, it'll still make an awesome addition to your Omega Squad or your Clone army.
Elite commandos conduct fierce battles and covert operations from the earliest days of the Clone Wars to the final days of the Galactic Empire. The lethally effective Alpha (Alpha-17) accompanies Jedi generals on missions and trains clone troopers on Kamino. Fi Skirata (RC-8015) serves as a team medic in Teroch Squad and Omega Squad, easing tensions with his sense of humor. Storm commandos receive special training to fight the Rebel Alliance; also called shadow scouts, they wear dark armor that deflects light and energy.
