MORE INFORMATION

  • This Black Series 6" Trapper Wolf figure was released in the United States exclusively through Hasbro Pulse during Hasbro Pulse Con 2021
  • The figure was first made available during Fan Fest Hong Kong in July 2021
  • Trapper Wolf, played by Dave Filoni, was first seen in episode 6 of the first season of the Mandalorian TV show, but the figure is based on his appearance in episode 10 (second season) where he wore a differently painted helmet
  • For the body of this figure Hasbro re-used the Black Series Luke Skywalker (X-Wing Pilot) body from 2013 and repainted it slightly
  • When compared to the original Luke Skywalker figure it has a darker flight vest, a differently painted helmet, a brighter harness around the legs, a differently painted ammunition strap on the right boot and one button the chest box is now gray instead of blue
  • Here are comparison images of Luke Skywalker (Archive version), Wedge Antilles and Trapper Wolf (front view, back view)
  • The head sculpt is of course entirely new and captures Dave Filoni's likeness very well
  • The portrait was given the photo real treatment for a more life-like appearance instead of a simply painted face
  • The chestbox and the cable going into the flight vest are permanently attached and can't be taken off
  • The helmet fits tightly onto the head and when placing it onto the figure the strap unfortunately broke in half
  • The figure is able to hold the included blaster rifle very well in its hands
  • Unfortunately the blaster rifle wasn't painted and is kept in a simple gray plastic looking color
  • The buckles on the back of the flight vest weren't painted eithers (they were on the Luke figure), but that's not a deal breaker
  • All in all this figure is a great addition to the Black Series 6" line and a wonderful tribute to the man who's been giving us such fantastic Star Wars content in the spirit of George Lucas which we've been craving
