Bounty Hunter Rum Sleg was released individually carded in September 2009 in The Legacy Collection. Rum can be seen in The Phantom Menace, in a scene in Mos Espa where Darth Maul's probe droids are looking for the Jedi.
Rum Sleg has a total of 12 joints, only missing ankle articulation. This is unfortunate because the figure is a bit shaky on the feet and is likely to fall over. Hasbro included a removable helmet, two blasters and a removable fuel backpack. Both blasters fit well into the figure's hands and into both holsters. The backpack plugs into the the back of the figure and stays firmly attached. The figure's visor-less helmet fits quite well and can easily be put on Rum Sleg. The chest plate and the belt are both not removable.
The face sculpt is pretty cool and scary looking. The paint job overall is OK, with only a few hit and misses here and there.
All in all, this figure is pretty decent overall. It could have more movable joints, or be molded in a way with a more secure stance. However, it's a cool looking background character, which will make a nice addition to any Mos Espa diorama, or any Bounty Hunter set up.
The Boonta Eve Classic Podrace draws a huge crowd of spectators including bounty hunter Rum Sleg. Held just outside Mos Espa, the race is a high-speed, death-defying competition, which doesn't stop young Anakin Skywalker from competing.
