MORE INFORMATION

  • This Darth Malak figure was released single boxed in the Black Series basic assortment in July 2023
  • Darth Malak came with a lightsaber which has a detachable red blade
  • The saber can be stored in a holster on the back of the belt and the figure can hold it well in both hands
  • The back of Darth Malak's head has two holes in each side where the two face mask pieces can be plugged in, this works well
  • The figure was sculpted nicely, especially the head looks outstanding (here is a close-up)
  • The soft-goods cape is attached underneath the silver neck-armor and is non-removable
  • The belt is part of the sculpt and can't be taken off
  • In addition to having a ball-jointed upper body the figure was also given a ball-jointed waist
  • Malak looks great overall and the figure keeps its balance very well even in more dynamic poses, he didn't fall over once when taking pictures of him
  • The only downside to this figure, and that's an issue with many Black Series 6" figures unfortuantely, is the lack of weathering or applied dirt on the boots and the outfit (without an added wash it's a very simple looking figure)

PACKAGING TEXT

Darth Malak was once the apprentice of Darth Revan, a fallen Jedi turned Sith Lord who inspires terror at just the mention of the name. With Revan presumed dead, Malak embarked on his mission to conquer the galaxy on his own.
