MORE INFORMATION

  • This Black Series Wrecker (Mercenary Gear) figure was released in September 2023 exclusively through Walmart
  • Wrecker is based on the character's appearance from the second season of the Star Wars: The Bad Batch TV series
  • Even though the first released Black Series Wrecker figure from 2021 was part of the DELUXE assortment and cost $29.99 ($5 more than a regular Black Series figure at the time), this version here was released at the same cost as the other exclusive Walmart Bad Batch figures ($27.97)
  • Just like with the first figure, Hasbro included a knife, a removable helmet, a blaster and a removable backpack with Wrecker
  • The helmet is easily removable and covers the head well
  • The backpack plugs firmly into a hole in the back of the figure
  • The knife can be stored in the sheath on the right shin
  • There is a loose strap on Wrecker's left hip which can hold the blaster
  • The blaster's size has increased drastically for this release and it's much bigger now than the weapon from the first figure
  • The shoulder bells are made out of very soft rubbery plastic which allows Wrecker's arms to go up to the sides more than 90°
  • Wrecker can hold the blaster well but the knife fits only loosely into the hands
  • The figure was sculpted beautifully, look at the fantastic photo real print head sculpt and the smirk which captures Wrecker's lightheartedness perfectly
  • The head sculpt is identical to the one released with the first Black Series Wrecker figure, but this time it is less shiny
  • The paint application looks great on Wrecker, but a little bit of weathering and dirt would have brought out the dents and scratches in the armor better
  • This Black Series Wrecker in Mercenary Gear figure turned out great and if you are a fan of the Bad Batch and what Wrecker looked like in the second season you might want to consider adding this one to your collection
