MORE INFORMATION
This Cobb Vanth (Mandalorian Armor) figure was released single carded in September 2024
This Cobb Vanth figure marked the first Deluxe figure in the Vintage Collection which was released numbered and on a bigger cardback than regular figures
Hasbro included a Boba Fett helmet, Boba Fett's armor, a blaster, a blaster rifle, removable chest armor, a jet-pack with two flame accessories, a removable yellow knee cap and a red bandana with Cobb Vanth
The Boba Fett helmet isn't a regular helmet which fits over Cobb Vanth's head, instead you will need to unplug his head first before you can plug the Boba Fett helmet onto the figure
The jet-pack plugs firmly into a hole in the back of Cobb Vanth
The rocket in the jet-pack is removable
The two included flame accessories can be plugged into the jet-pack's thrusters, this way Cobb Vanth can be displayed "flying" or with the jet-pack "turned off"
The red bandana is removable and fits well around the figure's neck
The yellow knee cap can be taken off
The Boba Fett helmet has a static range-finder (surprising since we've had movable range-finders for over a decade in the 3 3/4" line)
The belt with the holster is its own uniquely sculpted part but it's glued onto the figure and not removable
Cobb Vanth can hold both included weapons securely in his hands
The holster on the right side of the hip is the perfect size for the blaster
It's possible to take the Boba Fett chest armor off the figure (the white cable needs to be unplugged from the armor first)
Hasbro sculpted Cobb Vanth beautifully and it looks great on display
The color tones on Cobb Vanth match the outfit from the tv series, but where it falls short is in the weathering
There is no wash or dirt on Cobb Vanth, the weapons were kept entirely unpainted, the Boba Fett armor and helmet were painted well in the front but kept clean in the back
The jet-pack was also kept entirely clean without a wash or a trace of dirt on it
Even though this Cobb Vanth figure looks great on display, for the deluxe price of $25 we could have seen a bit more effort put into this release, update the helmet with a movable range-finder, give the figure a subtle wash, add a bit of Tatooine sand to the boots, paint the weapon's grips like we've seen many times on other figures in this scale ... there is a bit room left for improvement!
Cobb Vanth stands very well on display, even in dynamic poses, without falling over
PACKAGING TEXT
