MORE INFORMATION

  • This tiny Grogu figure was released single boxed in October 2024 together with two Anzellan Droid Smiths and IG-12
  • You can find the other included figures here: Anzellan 1, Anzellan 2 and IG-12
  • This Grogu figure was given a new body, but unfortunately he still looks more like a Kinder Egg surprise toy than an actual figure which belongs into the Black Series line
  • Even though the neck is ball-jointed the head can barely be moved
  • Both shoulders have ball-joints which let you move the arms around a little bit
  • The wrists are swivel-jointed which allows you to adjust the hand poses but unfortunately he's unable to grab the controls properly inside IG-12
  • The tiny feet are connected to the body with ball-joints but they can barely be moved
  • Grogu was nicely sculpted, but it would be great to see Hasbro’s Star Wars team explore new ways to enhance future releases. Adding soft goods and more articulation could really elevate our beloved breakout star. For inspiration, they might look at Bandai’s SH Figuarts Grogu figure, which offers impressive flexibility and detail

PACKAGING TEXT

Clever Anzellan droidsmiths refurbished IG-11’s salvaged parts into a pilotable frame for Grogu, who operates the droid body like a vehicle. Stripped to base motor functions, the droid was renamed IG-12
