MORE INFORMATION

  • This Wicket figure was released single carded as part of a multipack of figures which was exclusively available at San Diego Comic Con 2011
  • Some remaining Death Star units were later sold through HasbroToyShop.com
  • The 14 figure set packaging was themed after the second Death Star as seen in Return Of The Jedi
  • This figure is identical to the regularly available VC27 Wicket figure
  • Wicket came with a spear, a pouch, a removable brown hood and a removable green hood
  • Both hoods are removable and fit tightly onto Wicket's head
  • The inclusion of the green hood is truly fantastic because it gives oldschool fans the opportunity to display Wicket the way he appeared in the Ewoks cartoon from the 80's
  • The pouch can be taken off the figure and Wicket can have it hang down on his left or right side
  • The spear fits well into both hands
  • The paint application on the figure is tight and the sculpt captures the likeness of the Ewok beautifully
  • Wicket stands well on display without falling over

PACKAGING TEXT

"I am a Jedi, like my father before me."

Return of the Jedi was a powerful conclusion to this epic saga of good versus evil. The whole world knows this film by its current title, which evokes the glorious return of the hero. But during filming, the movie was slated to be called Revenge of the Jedi. Merchandise was developed based on this title, including KennerĀ® action figure packaging. Then, late in production, there was a dramatic change. Shortly before the film was released, George Lucas decided the title should be Return of the Jedi. The final title carries a more appropriate emotional tone because, of course, a Jedi would not seek revenge.

To celebrate this monumental film and the unique history of its title, we have created special packages of favorite characters from the movie, featuring the Revenge of the Jedi title. May the Force be with you!
