This Keyan Farlander figure was released during The Legacy Collection in an Evolution 3-pack. Keyan Farlander could be seen in the Star Wars: X-Wing video game, and was also featured in several expanded universe novels. It's unclear if he ever truly appeared in Return Of The Jedi.
Keyan has 14 articulated joints, including a ball-jointed waist. The helmet, which is painted nicely with lots of dirt and battle damage, fits well onto the figure's head and can be positioned in a way so that the molded-in microphone points to the mouth. The included blaster can be held by the figure securely in either hand and you won't need to keep the little rubber band in place to secure it. If you compare the picture from the Hasbro packaging with the figure itself, you'll notice that the life-support cables are plugged into the top right of the B-Wing suit. On the figure, the cable running from the life-support system can be plugged into the flight suit on the right, or it can be plugged into the belt on Farlander's left side. So, it doesn't appear to be entirely accurate on the figure, but it still looks nice.
The paint application is well done with dirt on Keyan Farlander's legs, and more dirt and scuffs on the helmet. All in all, this Keyan Farlander figure is well done, it's super articulated and has a great face sculpt. If you are into the expanded universe, or if you would like to add more variety to your B-Wing figures, chances are that you'll like this figure.
The legacy of the Rebel Alliance pilots is one of outstanding courage and noble commitment. They emerged from a darkened galaxy to reawaken hope -- from the formation of the gallant Rogue Squadron that included doomed Cesi "Doc" Eirriss, to the Battle of Hoth in which Kesin Ommis took aim as a snowspeeder pilot in defense of Echo Base, and at the Battle of Endor, where veteran pilot Keyan Farlander harried enemy fighters and helped bring down an Empire.
