This Netrem Pollard figure was released during The Legacy Collection packed-in together with a B-Wing fighter. The entire set was a Toys'r'us exclusive in 2008 and 2009. Netrem Pollard was never seen in any of the movies, but had some appearances in the Star Wars: Rebellion comic book series based around the "Small Victories" story line.
Pollard has 14 articulated joints, including a ball-jointed waist. The helmet fits firmly onto the figure's head, but can also easily be removed. The B-Wing pilot's blaster can be held by the figure securely in either hand and you won't need to keep the little rubber band in place to secure it. The cable running from the life-support chest box can be plugged into the B-Wing flight suit on the right, or it can be plugged into the belt on Netrem Pollard's left side.
The paint application is nicely applied in the face and the uniform. All in all, this Netrem Pollard figure is well done, it's super articulated and has a unique face sculpt including two scars, which looks great. If you are into Star Wars comic books, or the expanded universe and the Dagger Squadron, you will most definitely like this figure! It'll also make a nice addition to any rebel pilot set up in a diorama!
In the story "Small Victories" from the Star Wars: Rebellion comic series, Rebel Alliance B-wing starfighters take on an Imperial fleet while trying to rescue Luke, Leia and the crew of the Rebel One from an Imperial refueling station. Rebel officer Lieutenant Pollard leads the fledgling Dagger Squadron on their very first mission that's full of daring and danger. B-wings pack a powerful punch in battle; these heavy assault fighters/bombers are amred with cannons and torpedoes, and a rotating cockpit enables pilots to execute advanced attack maneuvers.
