This Paploo figure was released during The Legacy Collection in October 2009 together with Ewok Nho'Apakk on a single card. Paploo can be seen in several Return Of The Jedi scenes, with the most famous being the one where he takes off on an Imperial Speeder Bike. The Ewok was portrayed by R2-D2 actor Kenny Baker.
Paploo has a total of 10 joints, lacking elbow and knee joints, probably due to the short height. The figure stands very securely on its own without any balancing issues. The headdress fits very tightly over Paploo's head, but with a little bit of patience it can be removed. The staff fits into both of the figure's hands without falling out when you reposition it. The belt is removable, and the holster on the belt is a great fit for Paploo's knife. The knife however is made out of extremely soft plastic, it's so soft that once you remove it from its holster, you might have trouble putting it back in place.
The paint application is well done, highlighting some details on Paploo's headdress, and detailing the facial area nicely. However, the color on Paploo's headdress in the movie appears a much duller, more grayish color. All in all though, this Paploo figure is well done and a welcome addition to any Endor diorama and your army of Ewoks!
NhoGÇÖApakk and Paploo are two of the Ewoks who inhabit the forested moon of Endor. Like all Ewoks, they prefer to avoid confrontation but are fearsome warriors when threatened. They fight alongside the Rebels to subdue the stormtroopers during the Battle of Endor, ultimately helping to defeat the Empire.
