This Clone Trooper named Sinker was released in a Target exclusive battlepack in November 2009. Sinker is featured in the animated Clone Wars TV show episode "Rising Malevolence" from the first season.
This figure is super articulated with 14 joints total, including ball-joints in every socket, except for both legs, which have swivel joints. Sinker stands very securely by himself without any problems. The blaster rifle is a perfect match for Sinker's right hand, so much so that his index finger sits right on the trigger, and his thumb wraps around the grip perfectly. The trooper's helmet, which is identical to the one that came with clone trooper Boost, is a great fit and covers the entire head.
The head sculpt is very detailed and shows the trooper's older, more distinct facial features well. The paint application is executed nicely without any factory errors or smudges, and like clone trooper Boost, Sinker's clone armor has well painted squad patterns on the left shoulder. All in all, if you are looking to expand your clone army with a super articulated figure based on the animated Clone Wars TV show, you might want to look into getting clone trooper Sinker as there is very little, if anything, to complain about here.
A mysterious Separatist weapon destroys Plo Koon's command ship. The Jedi Master, along with clone troopers Sinker and Boost and Clone Commander Wolffe, abandon ship in an escape pod just before the vessel is blasted to pieces by cannon fire. Now they must try to stay alive until rescue comes, while General Grievous, who is testing the new weapon, sends out forces to eliminate any survivors.
Clone Trooper Sinker: The clone trooper's sense of humor helps ease everyone's tension as the survivors try to restore life support in the pod and fight the attacking battle droids.
