This Clone Trooper named Waxer was released in a Target exclusive battlepack in November 2009. Waxer is featured in the animated Clone Wars TV show episode "Innocents Of Ryloth" from the first season.
This figure is super articulated with 14 joints total, including ball-joints in every socket, except for both legs, which have swivel joints. The clone has no balancing problems thanks to adjustable knees and ankles. The blaster rifle is a perfect match for Waxer's right hand, and both hand blasters fit perfectly into the holsters. Unfortunately, Waxer has some trouble holding the blasters in his hands, but with a little bit of patience you might be able to get them to stay. The helmet is the usual clone helmet which is a great fit for Waxer's head, covering it entirely.
The head sculpt is well done and looks spot on when compared to the counterpart in the TV show. The paint application is OK, and it appears as if Hasbro has gotten all the distinctive markings on Waxer's armor right, including the markings on the helmet. The only negative on this figure is that Hasbro re-used a mold which was used before, like on clone trooper Rys for example. The problem here is that the figure has a hole in the back where an accessory such as a backpack can be plugged in. However, Waxer doesn't have a backpack in the "Ryloth" episode, and Hasbro didn't include one with the figure. This means that you end up getting a clone trooper with a hole in the back. This shouldn't be much of an issue since you very likely display the figure facing forward, but it's annoying nonetheless. All in all, it's a super articulated figure based on a clone trooper which even had a little side story in the clone wars tv show, and if that hole doesn't bug you, you'll very likely enjoy this figure.
