This Jawa figure was released during the Legacy Collection's basic line-up in October/November 2009 packed-in together with a KPR Security Droid. Jawas can be seen in various scenes throughout the saga.
The figure has 10 joints, missing articulated knees and ankles. However, this time the legs are movable individually, which wasn't possible on the previously released 30th Anniversary Jawa and The Legacy Collection Jawa. Despite the lack of joints below the waist the figure stands surprisingly secure on its own. The soft goods skirt is not removable and luckily doesn't look overly bulky. The blaster sits well in the right hand, but is a very loose fit in the figure's left. The holster, which is located on the right side is permanently attached to the ammunition bandoleer and houses the blaster well.
The Jawa's clothes are nicely painted with some weathering on them. If you peek under the figure's skirt you'll notice that Hasbro went beyond the call of duty and even gave the figure some bandages underneath. All in all, this Jawa figure is well done, and it's different enough from previous Jawa figures to stand out and add some variety to your display. To sweeten the deal for collectors, Hasbro included the KPR Security Droid as a bonus packed-in with this Jawa.
KPR security droids are used to monitor perimeters and maintain security devices. During their scavenging for lost and abandoned equipment, the Jawas find one of these droids and offer it for sale at moisture farms on Tatooine.
