This Cade Skywalker figure was released in a Comic 2-pack in 2008 together with a Darth Talon figure. Cade Skywalker's character was never seen in any of the feature length movies, but had several appearances in the Expanded Universe.
Cade is super articulated with 14 joints, which gives you enough options to pose him in any position you like. The entire sculpt is well done, with lots of details on the upper chest armor, the belt and boots. Out of the package, the figure has the holster on the wrong side, but you can just slide it around the waist to the right side. The holster is big enough for the blaster rifle, almost too big, but it works nonetheless. Both weapons, the lightsaber and the blaster rifle are good fits for Cade Skywalker's hands and you don't need the little plastic rubber bands to keep them in place. Hasbro gave the figure a dynamic looking, soft-plastic cloak, which can also be removed.
The paint application is well applied, especially the upper body armor looks nice with a rusty, older look to it. Cade Skywalker's curley hair and beard didn't translate all too well into the figure, but it's close enough to still look good. The face itself looks good, and Hasbro even added both earrings, take a close look at the close-up picture! All in all, this never before released Cade Skywalker action figure is well done. It's a super articulated figure with lots of details and an overall close look compared to what the character appeared like in the comic book series.
Years ago, when the Sith attacked the Jedi at Ossus, Cade Skywalker disappeared in a fiery blast. Everyone believes he's dead except Wolf Sazen. And as it turns out, Cade's former Jedi Master is right. Cade is now a disillusioned bounty hunter and pirate who carefully hides his true identity from everyone. But through a series of circumstances, Cade must face his past, and battle the ruthless Darth Talon, the Emperor's newly chosen assassin.
