MORE INFORMATION

This Amanin Warrior was released in a Walmart exclusive comic 2-pack during The Legacy Collection in Fall of 2009. The second figure in the set was the Imperial Officer Janek Sunber. Amanin Warriors were featured in the Star Wars: Empire comic book "To The Last Man".

The figure takes you right back to the POTF2 toy line from the mid 1990's with only 6 swivel joints. And even though you can't adjust the knees or ankles to give it a more secure stance, you can use the figure's tail and long arms to balance it out. There were 3 accessories included with the Amanin warrior, a spear and 2 necklaces. The spear doesn't fit well into either of the warrior's over sized hands, but it can be placed into the palms very loosely. Both necklaces fit well around the figure's neck and hang down loosely.

The paint application on the Amanin is well done, especially the front of the figure looks nice with a darker, slightly weathered yellow. The figure's sculpt looks nice, especially the two alien skulls on the necklace look cool. The figure's size is pretty remarkable, it stands more than a head taller than a basic Star Wars figure. All in all, this Amanin has some shortcomings, but the overall cool look makes up for that.

PACKAGING TEXT

Lieutenant Janek Sunber faces jealous Imperial officers and fierce Amanin aliens on the jungle world of Maridun. Determined to make something of himself, Sunber joins the infantry, where his tactical skills draw everyone's notice. His commander rewards him with promotions and the Amanin honor his courage, but others respond with resentment and betrayal. There's no shortage of battles, bloodshed and bravery as everyone fights "To the Last Man."
