Jedi Force File

Power Of The Jedi Force File
Almost every basic figure in the Power Of The Jedi single carded assortment included a Jedi Force File , a small double-sided 5-page booklet, with character stats. The only figures which didn't include a Force File were BoShek, Eeth Koth, FX-7, Imperial Officer, astromech droid R4-M9 (and Mouse Droid), Sabe (Royal Decoy), Rebel Fleet Trooper, Otoga 222 (packed-in with Anakin Skywalker) and Teebo. The Force File is 3.3" high (8,4 cm) and 9.9" in width fully extended (25 cm). The Force File listed biographies, skills, gear, tech, statistics, adventures and allies & enemies for each character. There were a total of 47 different Force Files to collect.

MORE INFORMATION

K-3PO was released individually carded during The Power Of The Jedi toy line in the year 2000. The droid can be seen in the command center in Echo Base in The Empire Strikes Back.

This figure has a total of 5 joints, including a swivel joint in the neck, both shoulders and both hips. The elbows, wrists, waist, knees and ankles are static and not movable. The left leg is a little bit shorter than the right, which makes it tricky to balance the figure out well. Luckily Hasbro gave the figure holes in both feet so he can be placed on a stand. The only accessory included with K-3PO was a Stentronic Sensor Pack, which the droid can hold OK in both hands.

The paint application on K-3PO is simple, but the glossy finish looks overall OK. The blast mark on K-3PO's upper right chest however looks as if somebody painted it with a blue marker. The figure's sculpt was OK for back in the days, but it feels outdated compared with the modern update of K-3PO, which Hasbro released 10 years later. All in all, it's still a decent figure, and makes a great background character in any Echo Base Diorama!

PACKAGING TEXT

A very old and experienced protocol droid, K-3PO had the vital task of leading the droid pool at Echo Base on the ice planet Hoth. K-3PO helped to coordinate the evacuation of the Rebel outpost when it was attacked by the evil Empire.
