This version of Arvel Crynyd was released in October 2008 as a Walmart exclusive and was packed-in together with a green A-Wing fighter. The A-Wing helmet is removable and fits perfectly onto the pilot's head. The chesbox is not removable, but the cable going into the pilot suit is. The figure stands securely without the need of an action stand. Hasbro gave the figure plenty of ball joints, so you can position the A-Wing pilot in many different poses. Even though there was no weapon included in the set, it is easily recommendable and a great addition to your rebel fleet!

In a desperate sacrifice during the Battle Of Endor, Arvel Crynyd smashes his A-Wing into the bridge of the Executor, causing the warship to crash into the second Death Star, and turning the battle in favor of the Rebels.
