Jedi Knight Joclad Danva was released in a Target exclusive 2-pack in 2009 together with a generic red Battle Droid. The set was part of the Geonosis Arena Showdown series, which started in 2009 during The Legacy Collection, and by Fall of 2010 consisted of twelve 2-packs totaling 24 figures. Joclad Danva can be seen fighting in Attack Of The Clones during the conflict in the Geonosian arena.
Joclad Danva has 14 points of articulation, including a ball-jointed neck, 2 ball-jointed shoulders, 2 ball-jointed elbows, 2 swivel wrists, a swivel waist, 2 swivel legs, 2 ball-jointed knees and 2 ball-jointed ankles. The figure stands quite well on its own. The long hair in the back limits the way the head can be positioned, but it overall works fine. The only weapon included with the Jedi was a green lightsaber, with a non-removable green blade. The saber fits very well into both of the figure's hands. There was no jedi robe included.
The figure is kept in a "clean" look without any dirt of battle markings on it. Joclad Danva is "super articulated" and overall done well. The sculpt hides the joints nicely, and they "feel" stiff, which will keep the figure positioned even in more battle-dynamic poses. The head is molded well and comes close to the character seen in the movie. All in all, this is the first time Joclad Danva has been released as an action figure, which is reason enough to add him to the collection. It's also a super articulated, 14-joint figure, which is nice, considering the very limited screen time the Jedi had in the movie.
The Jedi Knights rush to Geonosis to rescue Obi-Wan, Anakin and Padme from execution. The Jedi brandish their lightsabers against the Geonosian warriors and the massive army of battle droids, super battle droids and droidekas. All hope seems lost that any Jedi will survive this battle, then Yoda arrives with an army of clone troopers. Although many Jedi are lost that day, others survive this climatic battle that ushers in the Clone Wars.
