Master Yoda was released in a Target exclusive 2-pack in 2009 together with a Droideka. The set was part of the Geonosis Arena Showdown series, which started in 2009 during The Legacy Collection, and by Fall of 2010 consisted of twelve 2-packs totaling 24 figures. The figure is based on Yoda's appearance in Attack Of The Clones. He's never seen fighting in the arena, but he later confronts Count Dooku in the hangar.
Yoda has 10 joints, missing articulated elbows and knees. The neck, both shoulders and ankles are ball-jointed. The wrists, the waist and both legs have swivel joints. Yoda has big problems standing by himself, and you'll need to place him on a stand if you want him to look somewhat OK on display. There were two accessories included with Yoda, a green lightsaber with a non-removable blade, and a soft-goods jedi robe. The saber fits loosely into Yoda's right hand, but it doesn't fit into the left. The very light brown colored jedi robe feels too bulky and the sleeves are too long to fit well.
Master Yoda is painted OK, but it feels pretty basic nonetheless. What's really nice about this figure is the head sculpt, which is very detailed and really looks like a younger Yoda. All in all, with no elbow or knee joints, balancing problems and a bulky Jedi robe, this version of Master Yoda is only average.
The Jedi Knights rush to Geonosis to rescue Obi-Wan, Anakin and Padme from execution. The Jedi brandish their lightsabers against the Geonosian warriors and the massive army of battle droids, super battle droids and droidekas. All hope seems lost that any Jedi will survive this battle, then Yoda arrives with an army of clone troopers. Although many Jedi are lost that day, others survive this climatic battle that ushers in the Clone Wars.
