It was announced today that Peter Mayhew, who portrayed Chewbacca in the Original Trilogy, Revenge Of The Sith, The Force Awakens and The Clone Wars, passed away.
"The family of Peter Mayhew, with deep love and sadness, regrets to share the news that Peter has passed away. He left us the evening of April 30, 2019 with his family by his side in his North Texas home."
We had the pleasure to meet Peter Mayhew several times over the years and enjoyed seeing him on stage at events across the globe. May he rest in peace.
