These terms explain the rules for GalacticFigures.com ("we," "us" or "our"), including member accounts, Collector's Corner, comments, ratings, reviews, collection tools, the Wish List, the Pre-Order Tracker and website content. By using the website or its member features, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the website and contact us about closing any member account.
Our Disclosure, Disclaimer And Privacy Policy explains information collection, advertising relationships and privacy choices. Agreement to these terms is not consent to optional advertising or analytics tracking, including Google advertising-cookie or full-IP-address sharing. Those activities remain subject to applicable consent requirements and privacy choices.
GalacticFigures.com is an independent informational and community website based in Washington State, United States, for Star Wars action figure collectors. We are not affiliated with The Walt Disney Company, Lucasfilm LTD., Hasbro or other Star Wars merchandise manufacturers. Names, characters, trademarks and other third-party materials belong to their respective rights holders.
We do not sell action figures, process merchant orders or manage retailers' shipping, cancellations or refunds. Figure details, images, reviews, prices and release information are for collector reference and may change or contain errors.
Member accounts are for people aged 13 or older. You must also meet any higher age or authorization requirements that apply to you under local law. Provide accurate account information, use an appropriate public display name and do not impersonate another person. If you cannot meet these requirements, do not create an account or submit personal information.
Protect access to your sign-in account and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Google manages Google sign-in under its own terms; GalacticFigures.com does not receive your Google password. Do not attempt to access another member's account, private records or administrator functions.
Membership levels and feature availability may differ. Features, access limits and eligibility may change as the service develops. No particular rank, feature or future benefit is guaranteed simply because you have an account.
Optional community mailings require a separate choice and email confirmation when you first sign up. After your account address is confirmed, category changes take effect when you save. A changed account email address requires confirmation again. Accepting these terms does not subscribe you. You can change your selections or stop optional emails in Manage Newsletters, or use the unsubscribe link in a mailing. Availability and timing may vary, and delivery to every inbox is not guaranteed. Affiliate links and any referenced offers remain subject to the relevant merchant's current terms and availability. Keep contributions respectful, relevant and suitable for a collector community. Do not:
You are responsible for the material you submit and for having the rights or permissions needed to share it. You retain ownership of your original contributions. You give GalacticFigures.com non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store, reproduce, format, display and moderate those contributions as needed to operate the website and its community features. Photo permissions are described separately below.
Public contributions may appear with your display name and avatar. Do not include information you want kept private. A private Collector's Corner or collection setting does not hide comments posted elsewhere. Other visitors may save or share publicly displayed material, and we cannot recall copies outside our control.
Contributions represent their authors' views. Moderation or approval does not verify a review, endorse a statement or establish ownership of uploaded material.
Upload only photos you took, own or have permission to upload and share. You must obtain any permission needed from identifiable people shown and respect other people's copyright, privacy, publicity and related rights. Do not upload sensitive documents, private addresses or other material unsuitable for public display.
You keep ownership of your photos. By uploading a photo, you grant GalacticFigures.com non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, store, reproduce, resize, compress, crop only as technically necessary, and publicly display it in Collector's Corner and related GalacticFigures.com member features, subject to approval and the applicable visibility settings.
This permission lasts while the photo remains uploaded. It ends when you delete the photo or we remove it, except that temporary backups and records needed for legal or operational purposes may remain for a reasonable period. We will not sell your photo or use it in off-site advertising without separate permission. The confirmations shown during upload also apply.
New bios, future bio edits and photos require approval before publication. Saving text or uploading a photo creates a draft; use Submit For Approval to request review. Previously approved content may remain public while replacement content is pending. Review timing and approval are not guaranteed.
Your Make Public setting controls whether approved Corner content can be published. When it is on, approved content can appear as it becomes ready; when it is off, the public Corner page is hidden. Privacy changes preserve your existing Corner link. Approval does not override a private setting, and administrators may withhold content that breaks these terms.
Making a Corner private does not recall downloads, caches or screenshots, and previously shared direct photo URLs may remain accessible. It also does not change collection or Wish List sharing settings. Review those settings separately.
These tools help you organize your collecting information. You are responsible for the accuracy of quantities, formats, conditions, notes, storage locations, retailer information and other entries you save. Catalog relationships, product details and tools may change, and the tools are not a guaranteed inventory valuation, insurance record or retailer order-management service.
Adding an item to a Wish List or Pre-Order Tracker does not place, reserve, purchase or cancel a merchant order. Confirm release dates, delivery estimates and orders with the retailer. Sharing a Wish List does not guarantee that someone will buy or reserve an item.
Public collection and Wish List links can be accessed without signing in when you enable their respective sharing settings. Private collection notes and storage locations are not included on the site's public collection pages. Review anything you export or share, because a file you send can include private information you chose to include. Keep your own copies of information that is important to you; uninterrupted availability and recovery of every saved entry cannot be guaranteed.
We may review, reject, edit, hide, remove or anonymize contributions and restrict accounts to address violations, spam, abuse, safety concerns, legal obligations or service security. Some accounts may require approval of future contributions. Where appropriate, available member notices may explain a review decision. Contact us if you believe a decision was made in error.
To request account closure or review of your information, contact info@GalacticFigures.com. We may need to verify the request. Account closure, content removal and anonymization are handled according to the Privacy Policy and applicable law. Discussion contributions may be hidden or anonymized instead of being removed in a way that breaks a conversation. Necessary security or legal records and temporary backups may remain.
Unless otherwise identified, original site photographs, graphics, articles and other original content are owned by GalacticFigures.com or used with permission. This does not claim ownership of members' original contributions or third-party trademarks and materials. Browsing and sharing links to our pages for personal collector reference is welcome.
Except where permitted by applicable law or our written permission, do not copy, reproduce, scrape, download in bulk, redistribute, sell, license or repackage protected GalacticFigures.com images or content; upload it to datasets; use it for AI/model training; or include it in commercial websites, apps, databases, publications, marketplace listings or advertising. Do not remove ownership notices or claim that another person's work is yours. Contact us before using our material beyond personal viewing or link sharing.
Member-exclusive downloads, when offered, are for personal use unless the download states otherwise. Access to an image or a downloadable file does not grant commercial reuse rights. These terms do not restrict uses or rights that applicable law protects.
The website may earn commissions or other compensation from affiliate links, advertisements and merchant relationships. Ads and external services may be personalized where permitted. Our Privacy Policy and advertising disclosure explains Google advertising, first-party cookies, full-IP-address sharing and available privacy choices.
Merchants, advertising platforms, social networks and other external services operate under their own terms and policies. Their products, stock, pricing, shipping, returns and statements are their responsibility. Check their terms before purchasing or sharing information. We do not guarantee an external site's availability, accuracy, safety or performance.
The website and tools are provided as available for collector reference and community use. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that information is complete or accurate, that features will always be available, or that operation will be free of errors or interruptions. We may update or discontinue features and perform maintenance.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate third-party information, merchant transactions, unavailable features or copies of public contributions made by others. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, limits mandatory consumer or privacy rights, or prevents you from contacting a regulator or seeking remedies available under applicable law.
We may update these terms as the website changes and will revise the date above. Where applicable law requires additional notice or agreement, we will seek it. Updated terms do not retroactively grant broader rights to your photos or substitute for advertising consent. If you do not agree to updated terms, stop using the service and contact us about your account or content.
