During New York Toy Fair 2020 Hasbro revealed the second wave of Star Wars Retro Collection figures which will consist of six new interpretations of original Kenner figures from the 1980s and one entirely new interpretation of a character which Kenner never released. The figures which will be released are Lando Calrissian (non-smiling), Princess Leia Organa (Hoth Outfit), Yoda, Boba Fett, Luke Skywalker (Bespin) and Han Solo (Hoth Outfit). The one figure which was never-done-before by Kenner back in the days is Luke Skywalker (Snowspeeder Pilot), it will be released single carded inside the Hoth Ice Planet Adventure Game. Luke Skywalker (Snowspeeder Pilot) is not exclusive to a particular store.

Compared to last year the price has stayed the same for single carded figures (actually they are 0.15 cents cheaper because Walmart sells them for $9.84 instead of $9.99), but the board game has increased in price by $5 to $24.99 (look here on Amazon).
The entire wave of single carded figures will be exclusive to Walmart initially, but it will be available later in the year at other retailers online.
Unlike the first wave of Retro Collection figures, which had the same type of distress on the cards, Hasbro will change it up and make the stressing unique based on character. This way not all the cards will look the same way on a shelf. The sticker is said to be easier removable than before.
Currently there are no mini-rig type vehicles planned for the line, they are open to the idea, but the fan community will have to make a fuss about it so that it gets recognized as something which fans really want.

So there are two questions unanswered, will the retail version of this wave of figures have white eyes, or will it be closer to the original? How about the blister sizes? The prototypes on display seemed to use the much bigger and deeper blisters from The Vintage Collection, although the press images show the figures in the smaller Kenner-type bubbles. We'll update this article once we hear back from Hasbro.
