Google Hangout With Members Of The Hasbro Star Wars Team

Hasbro Star Wars team members Patrick and Eric did a Google Hangout this morning with several fan sites, including GalacticFigures.com, where they answered some questions. Unfortunately we can't publish the video/audio of the conversation, but here is a short loose transcript of the Q&A. 

Q: Which of the revealed Black Series 40th Anniversary figures from The Empire Strikes Back will make it into the main line?

A: Any newly sculpted figures will be released in the main line (Hoth Rebel Trooper, Luke Skywalker Snowspeeder Pilot).
Comment by J.B.: unfortunately it's still unclear if the newly sculpted Yoda and Luke Dagobah from the 2-pack will see basic assortment releases as well, but it sounds like it.

Q: In year's past Hasbro sold exclusive Star Wars figures at San Diego Comic Con/Star Wars Celebration and other conventions, how are this year's exclusives going to be sold with SDCC already cancelled and Star Wars Celebration likely to follow?

A: It's too early to make any announcements about convention exclusives for this year and how they will be distributed, but Hasbro Pulse is an option.
Comment by J.B.: Keep in mind that Star Wars Celebration has not been cancelled yet as of this post.

Q: At SDCC and Celebration Hasbro always held panels to reveal new products, will you be holding those panels online instead, like you did last Friday?

A: It's too early to make any announcements at this time, but it is an option to do another Hasbro Pulse Facebook live stream. 

Q: Everybody loves the HasLab Sail Barge. Is there hope, sooner than later for Vintage Collection fans, that there will be another Haslab project coming down the pipe?

A: We can't make any announcements yet.  

Summary: 

Some of Hasbro's answers were short because they had already been asked and discussed (or a version thereof) by other fan sites during the Q&A. HasLab came up several times and the availability and distribution of this year's convention exclusives as well. Once we hear how Hasbro will handle this year's convention circuit/exclusives/panels we'll report back.
