Just a few days ago we've learned that Toys'R'Us has partnered with Macy's stores to sell toys online along with an in-store shopping experience at 400 locations across the nation in 2022. Target started a similar program together with the Disney Store in 2019 and now they've announced that this program will continue and expand to over 160 Disney store at Target locations across the country, providing even more guests with the opportunity to enjoy the unique in-store experience. Plus, Target continues to grow its dedicated online Disney experience for fans seeking toys and games from the hottest properties.
“Target continues to be a top toy destination for all families, and we’re pleased to offer unique experiences and a curated toy assortment that brings joy to parents and children of all ages,” said Nik Nayar, SVP of Hardlines, Target. “We’re seeing more guests shop for toys at Target than ever before, and whether it’s Bullseye’s Top Toys or finding joy with one of the 1,300+ exclusive toys and games, guests are choosing Target for our inspiring, easy and affordable gift-giving experience.”
It's unclear currently what Target locations will see the Disney Store addition to the toy department, but the transformations will take place before this Holiday 2021 shopping season. For the full press release have a look here.
