George Lucas Is Coming To The Black Series!

StarWars.com just announced that Ungle George, the MAKER himself, will join Hasbro's Black Series 6" action figure line as part of the Lucasfilm 50th anniversary celebration! The figure is a fan channel exclusive and will be available at a variety of online outlets, but you can find the AMAZON pre-order page here. This is the second time that Hasbro is immortalizing George Lucas in Stormtrooper Disguise as an action figure, the first one was in 2006/2007 as a mail-away Vintage SAGA Collection figure. Other George Lucas action figures in the 3 3/4" line included Baron Papanoida and Jorg Sacul.

“As a lifelong Star Wars fan, I have both the honor and privilege to bring characters from the franchise to life in product form every single day,” Vickie Stratford, sr. director of product design at Hasbro, tells StarWars.com. “When the opportunity came to design the George Lucas figure, we were especially excited for this project.
