Hasbro Pulse Con 2024, which will take place next Friday on the Hasbro Pulse YouTube channel, will feature a variety of different brands, including Dungeons & Dragons, Transformers, Marvel Legends, GI Joe and the undisputed heavy-weight king of almost 50 years on toy shelves: STAR WARS! This means we'll see announcements for Hasbro's flagship Star Wars action figure lines from The Black Series and The Vintage Collection (and hopefully some retro announcements too), so let's dive into it and speculate as to what we might see next Friday the 13th!
What Do We Know?
The place, the time, the host and the exclusive! Be there at 1pm ET on the Hasbro Pulse YouTube channel when the show kicks off with the Toy Hunter, your host and Uebercollector, Jordan Hembrough! The exclusive for this year's online event is a Black Series Battle Droid with STAP which will be packaged in a 1999 Episode 1 style box and cost $49.99.
When will it go on sale? We’re not sure yet, but last year’s Black Series Starkiller 3-pack exclusive launched the same day as Hasbro Pulse Con, with sales starting at 4 p.m. ET for premium members and 5 p.m. ET for non-members. It’s likely we’ll see a similar release time this year. Additionally, some of the other figures revealed that day were also available for preorder at the same time.
What We Currently Don't Know
Currently we don't know yet how long Hasbro Pulse Con 2024 will run or at what time the panels will be held. Hasbro is probably going to make the announcement sometime early next week. Stay tuned to Galactic Figures as it'll be posted on the main page once the info comes out.
How Many Figures Will They Announce?
Last year Hasbro showed 5 TVC figures and gave us a sneak peak at an additional 6 in the pipeline. For the Black Series line Hasbro showed 8 figures (this included 4 archive figures which were only available outside the United States) and the pipeline revealed an additional 4 figures. So for 2024 we can likely expect a similar numbers for each line. If you don't remember what they showed last year you can take a look at our Hasbro Pulse Con 2023 summary.
What Will We See?
The Vintage Collection
It's fair to assume that the Star Wars team will give us an update about the Vintage Collection Ghost vehicle and tell us if it'll ship this year or next. Since Hasbro likes to build around HasLab items with additional figures, maybe we'll get an announcement for additional Star Wars: Rebels characters. If it's not Star Wars: Rebels however, we might get a first glimpse of previously pipeline revealed figures from the Ahsoka show where the Ghost vehicle was of course also featured. We know that TVC figures of Baylan Skoll, Shin Hati, Clone Trooper Lieutenant, Anakin Skywalker and the Mandalorian Super Commando are coming, so maybe we'll get a first glimpse at those figures on the 13th.
For TVC they are likely going to show us E-Wing pilot Lt. Callahan, this is a figure which was pipeline revealed a long time ago and with the E-Wing shipping this fall, it's pretty save to assume that we'll see her during Hasbro Pulse Con 2024. After all, we need a pilot to fly our ship! Other figures which have been pipeline revealed for TVC include Return To Tatooine figures of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Ben Kenobi and Hammerhead, all of which are great candidates for a first appearance next Friday, but it's likely too early still to talk about Summer 2025. The last three pipeline figures which we have yet to see are Dedra Meero from the Andor TV series and Jedi Master Indara with Jedi Knight Yord Fandar from the Acolyte. The Skeleton Crew tv series isn't too far away anymore, maybe Hasbro has a few TVC figures on tap for us to get a look at? And will Hasbro support the amazing looking video game Star Wars: Outlaws in the 3 3/4" line?
The Black Series
There have been a few leaks online already of up-coming Black Series figures from Star Wars: The Skeleton Crew tv series which included Fern, one of the girls from the show. The packaging revealed on the back that she is #4 in the line so we can expect at least four Black Series figures from the Skeleton Crew. Will they show those figures during Hasbro Pulse Con though? Maybe they'll save those for when we get closer to December 3rd when the series premiers.
We know that following figures are in the Black Series pipeline: Anakin Skywalker (Ahsoka tv series), BX Commando Droid, Captain Rex (Phase 1), Commander Bacara, Dagan Gera (Jedi: Survivor baddie), Kelnacca, Luke and Leia from ANH, Moff Gideon (Beskar armor), Praetorian Guard (from the Mandalorian) and Prince Xizor from Star Wars: Shadows Of The Empire. Likely candidates for a first look are Luke and Leia, along with Dagan Gera, those three figures have been announced as being in the pipeline a while ago.
With an already announced BX Commando Droid for the Black Series line, maybe we'll see a repaint along with the main protagonist Kay Vess from the Star Wars: Outlaws video game announced.
And there you have it ... we'll see how it all plays out on September 13th at 1pm ET on the Hasbro Pulse YouTube channel!
