Skeleton Crew Action Figures Debut At New York Comic Con 2024!

This afternoon Hasbro held a panel at New York Comic Con 2024 where they revealed new Star Wars action figures for the Black Series and The Vintage Collection! Pre-orders for some figures will go up on October 23rd at 1pm ET. The Black Series Commander Cody figure, which is exclusive to Walmart, is already available for pre-order now. The Black Series Skeleton Crew figures don't have a pre-order date, but they'll be on store shelves when the tv show airs, which is December 3, 2024. There were no figures shown for Hasbro's Retro Collection.

Looking through the press release, there are no surprises in terms of pricing: TVC figures remain at $16.99, and Black Series 6" figures stay at $24.99. The Sabine/Howler creature set will be priced at $39.99.

The Black Series

For the Black Series line Hasbro showed Commander Cody in throwback 3 3/4" packaging to celebrate the 20th anniversary next year. The figure has a removable helmet and uses the new clone trooper body, he's a Walmart exclusive figure and will ship in Spring 2024.

Jing from the Hasbro Star Wars team also showed the first six figures from the Star Wars: Skeleton Crew which includes Jod Na Nawood (#1), Neel (#2), Wim (#3), Fern (#4), KB (#5) and Private Captain Brutus (#6). The Skeleton Crew figures will be out this Fall! There will be no pre-orders apparently, but they should be on shelves when the show debuts on December 3rd, 2024.

The Vintage Collection

For TVC Jing gave us a look at Jod Na Nawood (Skeleton Crew, VC310), Doctor Evazan (ANH, repack but updated portrait and new cardback, VC57), the Snowtrooper (Empire Strikes Back, brand new figure, VC349) and Sabine with Howler creature (Ahsoka TV series). Great looking figures all around!
